Kids love dinosaurs and often know more about them than many of the living animals they see every day. There is something magical and mysterious about these giant reptiles that roamed our planet between 245 million to 66 million years ago during the Mesozoic Era.
Recently, I was in Port Hope, Ontario, and I stopped by Primitive Designs, an 8,000-square-foot store and gallery that imports home and garden decor and sculptures, including several massive metal dinosaurs made from recycled metal! One Tyrannosaurus rex they erected was an impressive 40-by-20 feet in size.
Although you might not have the space – or the budget – for a 40′ long T. rex, there are many smaller sculptures and metal garden stakes that will delight the dinosaur-obsessed kid, young or old, in your life. Pick your favorite, or add several to create your own Jurassic Park.
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Tyrannosaurus rex was one of the fiercest predators of all time, which is why these carnivorous dinosaurs are considered the king of the dinosaurs and capture the imagination of many dinosaur fans.
