I have been a gardener for over 30 years, planning and planting perennials, annuals, climbing vines, and bushes. For many years I belonged to my local gardening club, including being on the board of directors for two years.
One of my friends at the gardening club had this line in her email signature:
“There is a fine line between hobby and obsession.”
I think, like her, I crossed this line many years ago.
In addition to plants, I am also obsessed with finding the perfect garden decor for my yard. I have spend countless hours wandering through garden centers and shows, as well as going on tours of private gardens. All the while keeping an eye out for fun, colorful, playful, and beautiful outdoor art.
Now I do most of my wandering online, and live vicariously by sharing my finds on this site.
