An inhabitant of the Arctic, the snow bunting often spends the winter in Canada’s northern tundra. Mauricio Morales depicts the sweet little creature in a ceramic sculpture and carefully paints it by hand before protecting the colors with a coat of wax. The realistic figurine stands on wire legs and the feet can be wrapped around a perch or branch.
